Who is MUAH & Co.?

We are a family owned business. It began with just Sandy and Thelma (sisters) serving as makeup and hair artists−but now we have expanded and added some amazing hair and makeup artists. We have even trained our own. Alyssa, daughter and niece, is now one of our makeup artists and does public relaitons for our company. Sabrina, niece, is our wonderful apprentice, spokesperson, and representative for our company. Being family-owned helps us build great relationships within our company as well as with our customers.

It’s been a fun journey and, as we grow, we continue to bring the best into our company.

Thelma Sifuentez, Owner

I’ve always had a passion for fashion, health, beauty and to also be an inspiration. In 2009, 4 years into being a “stay-at-home” mom, I decided to accomplish these goals and pursued my life-long dream with my talented sister and partner in crime, Sandy. My expertise come from years of research, experience, God given talent, makeup and hair skills — and amazing referrals. Years into this successful journey, I am truly blessed to have built wonderful relationships with professionals in the beauty, fashion and wedding industry —and especially with my wonderful and devoted clients.

Sandy Crayton

Lead Makeup Artist / Designer

A career in the beauty industry was not something I planned, but I enjoy enhancing beauty through makeup and hair. My venture into the beauty industry has yielded a gratifying profession. I am the happy go lucky, not so serious, go with the flow side to MUAH & Co. I enjoy the creative aspect of what I do and seeing our client’s’ smiles as they see their beauty transformation right before their eyes. I have always had a love and appreciation for style and beauty in all forms that it brings. I believe beauty starts as an inner glow waiting to shine. My job is to bring that out in every client.

Alyssa Sifuentez

Makeup Artist / Public Relations

During my high school years, I watched my mom, Thelma, transform and enhance her clients with her makeup artistry. I even had the luxury of having my own makeovers by my mom during those fun and critical years. I never imagined I would follow in her footsteps. I used the skills that I learned for some much needed extra cash during my college years. It’s paid off. I love being a part of MUAH & Co.My goal is to use my Communications Degree to advance this wonderful beauty business to what it deserves to be, a pillar in the health and beauty industry.

Sabrina Iwami

Makeup Artist Apprentice

I am an individual of many passions: health, fitness, beauty, design, fashion n and creativity. I am also employed at a skincare pharmaceutical company. My passion and profession has taught me the skills needed to build confidence and encourage people to put on their best appearance. As a makeup artist apprentice for the MUAH & Co. team, I’ve been given the opportunity to also help many a woman look and feel amazing on her special day. Working with MUAH & Co., I have explored and broadened my skills as a make-up artist. I love working with this talented team and in the fun atmosphere we call “work.”

Emily Brown

Makeup Artist

Growing up in Manhattan NY and Atlanta GA, I was exposed to a rainbow of cultures, ethnic beauties, and vivacious city life and I developed a deep love for art and makeup at an early age. I started doing makeup professionally in 2010, which is the same year I joined the MAC Cosmetics freelance team. Working with MAC has given me the invaluable experience needed to work on different skin tones and types. I trained with TEMPTU in NYC and received my certification in Airbrush Makeup in 2011. I regularly attend makeup workshops and seminars both locally and nationwide to ensure that I am keeping up with the latest beauty trends and that my kit is only stocked with the very best products. I love being a part of the MUAH & Co Beauty Studio team where we can make any occasion a beautiful one!
